Leumit Health Services (Sherutei Bri'ut Leumit) covers roughly 750,000 Israelis, making it the smallest of the four funds. The cultural reputation is for personal continuity — smaller patient panels mean longer-term relationships with the same family physician and shorter clinic queues. Leumit operates through contracted providers and does not own hospitals.
How to order blood tests
Blood tests are ordered by your Leumit family doctor and routed digitally. The Leumit app and leumit.co.il portal let you see open orders and book appointments. Bring your teudat zehut to the blood-draw station; the order is matched automatically.
How to retrieve results
Results appear in the Leumit app and website typically within 48–72 hours. Critical values trigger a notification.
Coverage notes
Basic blood-test panels are covered under the basic basket. Specialised tests require a specialist referral or coverage under Leumit Silver / Gold supplementary insurance.
