Cookies Policy
Effective date: 22 April 2026
Version: 2
Mediora uses a small number of cookies to deliver the service safely. This page lists
every cookie we currently set, what it does, and whether you can decline it.
Cookies we use
| Name | Purpose | Category | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
auth_token (local storage) |
Holds your signed session token so we can recognise you between pages. | Essential | Session (cleared on logout) |
mediora_lang |
Remembers your language preference when you toggle the switcher. | Essential | 1 year |
mediora_consent_id |
Opaque ID linking your browser to a CookieConsent row so we can prove what you accepted. |
Essential | 1 year |
mediora_consent |
Stores the cookie-consent choice itself (essential / analytics / marketing). | Essential | 1 year |
We do not currently set analytics, marketing, or third-party tracking cookies. If we
introduce them, we will update this table, bump the version, and ask for fresh consent
via the banner before setting them.
Your choices
The cookies marked Essential are required for the service to function — signing you
in, keeping you signed in, remembering your language, and remembering what you accepted.
You cannot decline them while continuing to use Mediora.
For any non-essential categories we add in the future, the banner at the bottom of the
screen on your first visit lets you:
- Accept all — allow the essential cookies plus any future analytics/marketing ones.
- Essential only — the default; allow only the cookies listed above.
- Customize — pick category-by-category.
You can change your choice at any time from the Profile page (when we introduce
non-essential categories).
