Urine osmolality
A measure of how concentrated the urine is — the total dissolved particles per kilogram of water. It shows whether the kidney is concentrating or diluting the urine appropriately, which is central to working out low sodium, dehydration and problems with the body's water-controlling hormone.

Urine osmolality measures the concentration of dissolved particles in the urine.
